Description

Vacuum hot pressed 98.5% beryllium. S-200-F is used as an optical substrate and support bench in numerous astronomical telescopes, fire control and FLIR systems, and spacecraft and weather satellites.

Processing history

This standard grade is to be produced through the consolidation of beryllium powder by vacuum hot pressing. Parts and shapes are machined from the vacuum hot pressed material.
