German immigrant named Valentine Seeger started his own business selling brass, copper, and babitt metal in Toledo, Ohio. The company was named Toledo Brass and Iron Works,The Seeger Brass Company. As the company expanded into stainless steel, aluminum, and plastics, the name was changed in 1978 to Seeger Metals and Plastics to better represent the full line of our products and services.
