Description

2.4478 (FeNi52) is a controlled expansion alloy consisting of 51% nickel. Its low thermal expansion properties make it highly suited for use in a variety of electronic applications within the telecommunications industry. It shows the following features and properties:


  • Near zero coefficient of linear thermal expansion
  • High strength and toughness at cryogenic temperatures
