Description

1.4057 (X17CrNi16-2) is a high chromium-nickel corrosion-resistant martensitic stainless steel supplied as bright bar in the hardened and tempered condition. This grade is one of the most corrosion resistant grades of martensitic stainless steels, displaying excellent strength and toughness, resistance to stress corrosion and to oxidation up to 800°C. It shows the following features and properties:
