Formadur 400 shows the following features and properties:


  • Pre-hardened plastic mold steel with approx. 400HB
  • Excellent toughness & hardenability
  • Excellent polishability (ESR)
  • Easy machinability
  • Good weldability
  • Best texturing properties
  • This material data has been provided by Deutsche Edelstahlwerke Specialty Steel (DEW).
