SABIC® LLDPE 430BE is a butene linear low density polyethylene resin. The material, natural resin, is typically used for cast film applications, offering good mechanically properties, stiffness enhancement and furthermore enables to gain high line speeds. SABIC® LLDPE 430BE is provided with a dedicated anti oxidant package typically for cast film extrusion with low gel levels. Applications Skin layers for non-cling stretch cast film, cast film side encapsulation, mid layer hygienic cast film and product to realize downgauging by stiffness enhancement. Film properties Properties are determined on 20 μm cast stretch film produced on a 2 m commercial cast stretch line: melt temperature 270 °C, chill roll temperature 20 °C and line speed of 450 m/min. Processing conditions SABIC® LLDPE 430BE is extrudable with conventional cast film extrusion equipment. Minor machine modifications may be required for optimum use. Cast film melt temperatures 250 - 300 °C. This product is not intended for and must not be used in any pharmaceutical/medical applications.
