Grade 4 titanium powders are recommended for use in biomedical applications. For some biomedical applications, layers of both the fine and the coarse powders may be applied serving different functions. Atomized products are comprised of fully dense powder particles that are free-flowing and highly spreadable. These products will also give the best results for processes that require a high packing density to achieve high loading, such as MIM.
