Description

Material X7CrNiAl17-7 is comparable to X 7 CrNiAl 17 7 acc. to DIN17224 : 1982-02. The material is a hardenable stainless steel with high strength and hardness, sufficient corrosion resistance and satisfactory workability. It shows the lowest corrosion resistance within the group of type 1.4301 owing to the lowered Cr- and Ni-content and the Al-addition. Application in aircraft industry and in leight weight construction for surface facings, fuel reservoirs, valve components, pressure vessels, presswork components in wear loaded assemblies.
