Description

Material X6CrNiTi18-10, comparable to X 6 CrNiTi 18 10 acc. to DIN 17440: 1985-07 is the variant of 1.4301 (X5CrNi18-10), stabilized by Ti. It is therefore after welding resistant to intercrystalline corrosion also at material thicknesses of > 6 mm. Large-scale application for welded parts in chemical apparatus engineering as well as in food, luxury food, fat and soap industry, in film and photo industrie, in leather and sugar factories and for household articles. Application up to 550 °C, if there are no media causing intercrystalline attack. The steel is owing to the Ti-addition unsuitable for mirror finishing. Permitted for load-bearing components in construction trade. The material may be used as heat resistant steel acc. to DIN EN 10095 : 1999-05.
