Braz Line – finished aluminium goods and solutions
Braz Line is part of the Alumeta Group, a leading supplier of aluminium goods. While Braz Line offers a range of aluminium profiles and finished goods, the materials featured on Matmatch are those of sister company Braz. The wide range of aluminium offered by Braz means that their materials can be used in a variety of applications.
Braz Line itself is a manufacturer of finished aluminium goods such as aluminium interior profiles. The company offers its expertise to Matmatch customers who may have found the right material, but do not have the skills in house to manage the production process. As a customer-focused company, Braz Line can also advise design engineers who are unsure on the best material from the range for their specific application.
Why Braz Line joined Matmatch
“Customer service is important to us,” explained Iryna Ovdienko, deputy head of tender department at Braz Line. “As such, we wanted to extend our reach across Europe using a tool that would act as the first point of contact for a new audience.”
“As the Matmatch search engine is used by engineers and designers across the world, it’s strategically very important for us to be included in the database. It means that we can be found by customers that we would not normally be able reach, so we can build this relationship and supply them with the right materials for their needs.”

Hydro Aluminium High Purity
Part of the Norsk Hydro group (one of the largest aluminium companies in the world), Hydro Aluminium High Purity manufactures and supplies high purity aluminium 4N to 6N. The materials have 99.99% to 99.9999% purity, and Hydro refines the aluminium by using 3-layer electrolysis and fractional crystallisation technology to remove impurities such as silicon, copper and iron as well as a wide range of minor elements.
High purity aluminium has a range of applications. For example, it is used in the semiconductor industry for thin films and in the process of sputtering, where a thin film of metal is deposited onto the surface of the wafer. It is also processed into sputtering targets for the flat panel display industry and is also a starting material in the production of high purity alumina used to produce synthetic sapphires.
Different sizes and shapes of the material are listed on Matmatch with tailor-made chemical specifications to fulfil the needs of the customer. The material is sold in the form of pigs, sheet ingots, round billets, small and large ingots, small pyramids and made to measure shapes.
Why Hydro joined Matmatch
“We chose to be featured on Matmatch due to the global reach of our brand,” explained Mark Morton, Head of Sales and Metal Management at Hydro. “We find that design engineers no longer want to trawl through catalogues or endless search engine results to find the right product for their application, so being featured on Matmatch will allow our customers to find us much more easily. No matter where our customers are in the world, or what sector they work in, they’ll be able to find our high purity aluminium on the Matmatch database.”
