Description

Hytrel® by DuPont™ is a family of high performance thermoplastic elastomers that incorporates the most useful characteristics and material properties of elastomers and plastics, including excellent toughness, creep and impact resistance, resilience and fatigue strength. Hytrel® HTR8808 is a high-temperature thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPEE) grade that shows outstanding balance of heat resistance and stiffness, high flexibility and pressure resistance. It is convenient for processing by blow moulding and is recommended for pressurized air ducts for turbo gasoline engines. HTR8808 is cyclically flexible in different directions and is highly durable, which makes an important ingredient in components in the automotive industry.
