Description

NORYL™ SA110A resin is a low molecular weight polymer based on polyphenylene ether (PPE). Miscibility of NORYL SA110A resin in polystyrene may allow use as a styrene endblock reinforcing resin in a variety of materials like styrene-based rubbers and styrene block copolymers. Adding NORYL SA110A resin to these systems may improve heat resistance (adhesion at elevated temperatures) while maintaining peel strength. The viscosity profile of NORYL SA110A resin makes it a good potential candidate for melt extrusion tape processes.
