Description

The two most important properties of copper are its high electrical conductivity (which is the highest of any metal) and its high thermal conductivity. These two properties make it the best choice for the construction of conducting wires, heat dissipators and exchangers, and cooking ware, among other things. The combination of its chemical stability towards water and gas, along with its high ductility make it the best choice for both water and gas piping. The only drawback is its price, which is higher than other options, but it makes up by being the best alternative for many uses.
