Description

The fully austenitic material G-X 12 CrNi 18 11 possesses a defined low value of the relative magnetic permeability of 1.01 maximum (for castings with a wall thickness of up to 50 mm). It is applied for construction components which an interference or shielding of a magnetic field must not occur at. Toughness and corrosion-resistance of this material are very good, the cutting machinability is good, welding is possible.
