Description

The austenitic steel X2CrNiMo18-15-4 shows very high resistance to unoxidizing and halogenated media due to its high Mo-content (more than 3%), furthermore resistance to intercrystalline corrosion even in sensitized condition. It is usable for mirror-polishing and is cold formable. The steel is permitted for pressure vessel construction. Application: in chemical apparatus engineering especially in cellulose industry, in textile and rayon industry, in tankship construction and for transport containers
