Description

S355J0C is used for folding, section cold forming and cold drawing grade. The high-tensile fine grained steel is applicable for welding constructions up to -20 °C subject to the load. Compared to S235J0C is achievable a considerable saving of material due to the by 120 MPa higher yield point. The steel shows a by 15% higher resistance to mineral wear due to sliding action in comparison to S235J0. Max. product thickness amounts 20 mm for folding and 8 mm for cold roll forming grades.
