Description

AgCu50 is used for fuse elements for electrical fuses. The advantages compared to pure silver for this application are the lower use of precious metals, higher mechanical strength, higher resistivity, spring properties (eg for micro-fuses with spiral-shaped fusible link, the lower aging resistance has a negative effect.) This material is only used to a limited extent instead of Pure silver (Ag1000 / 1000) suitable.
