Description

The material NiCr7030 with the material number 2.4658, which is applied in the form of strips and wires (see also heating conductor alloys according to DIN 17470 or electrical resistance alloys according to DIN 17471) for furnace construction components and heating conductors, is an austenitic nickel-chromium electrical reistance alloy. This alloy distinguishes itself by good scale-resistance as well as by durability under alternating stress in oxidizing/reducing atmosphere for operating temperatures of up to 1250 °C. Application for industrial electric furnaces, enamelling furnaces and night-current storage space-heaters. Processing properties: Formability: good Weldability: satisfactory
