Description

The austenitic steel X8CrNiNb16-13 is available in solution annealed condition as hot rolled sheet. It is a high temperature resistant special steel for application up to 800 °C. No scaling up to 800 °C. The material is resistant to embrittlement and resistant to intercrystalline corrosion, also in the sensitized condition. Application: in turbine and steam-boiler construction (combuster lining, after heater cover, front pipes), for hot-work tools as well as for high-pressure hydrogenation quality in hydrogenation facilities at higher temperatures
