To be a model rolling mill in the world, with its environment-friendliness as well as the highest level of working environment
HARADA started manufacturing and sales of phosphor bronze materials soon after its establishment in 1952, and became only one manufacturer in the world specialized to phosphor bronze in 1970, based on its business consolidation in view of promising future of phosphor bronze as a nonferrous metal.

-High Quality Phosphor Bronze is upper grade of normal Phosphor Bronze.
-Small Grain Size 3μm or below.
-Superior mechanical properties.
-Excellent high Tensile Strength and Yield strength (C5240HQ-XSH TS 1,063N/㎟ YS1,025N/㎟).
-Excellent bendability.
-Main application are micro connectors for worldwide global electronics parts & other communication devices maker.
High precision Extra Thin material
-Minimum thickness is 0.05mm(0.00197”)
-Highest level of thickness tolerance control.
-Highest level of consistency for mechanical properties.
Hot Dip Tin plating
- Only manufacturer of Hot Dip Tin Plating in Japan.
- Available thick plating thickness up to 8.0 (μm)
- High whisker resistance, preventive measures for short circuit accidents
- High adhesion, intermediate alloy layer is formed between phosphor bronze and tin plating during plating to achieve high adhesion
To meet the customers’ ultimate expectations, HARADA has implemented its investment in plant facilities as well as its production systems based on a long –term plan, such as the consolidation of the whole production process (melting, casting, rolling, annealing, surface treatment, leveling and other ancillary processes) into Sendai factory as an integrated production line.
HOT-DIP-tinning, a metallurgically completely different from electroplating, has very low occurrence of whiskers, provides extremely strong adhesion to the base metal, achieves superb bend workability, and has high reliability particularly as material for small-sized high-density components, for example.
HARADA has enabled automatic control of optional thickness by applying the cutting-edge technology of Hot Air Level System to this tested HOT-DIP-tinning manufacturing and has achieved higher productivity of uniformly bright surface finished products.
