Description

Permendur 49® alloy is a soft magnetic alloy which has been used primarily as magnetic core material in electrical core material in electrical equipment requiring high permeability values at very high magnetic flux densities.

The magnetic characteristics of this alloy permit weight reduction, reduction of copper turns, and insulation in the end product when compared to other magnetic alloys having lower permeabilities in the same magnetic field range.

This material data has been provided by Matmatch.

All metrics apply to room temperature unless otherwise stated. SI units used unless otherwise stated.
Equivalent standards are similar to one or more standards provided by the supplier. Some equivalent standards may be stricter whereas others may be outside the bounds of the original standard.
