Description

The aviation material NiCr20Ti with the material number 2.4630 is contained in the Werkstoff-Leistungsblatt der Deutschen Luftfahrt editions WL 2.4630-1 : 1993-08, WL 2.4630-2 : 1993-08, WL 2.4630-3 : 1993-08, WL 2.4630-4 : 1993-08 and WL 2.4630-100 : 1993-08. DIN 17742 among other things contains the material NiCr20Ti with the material number 2.4951. The alloy is scale-resistant up to approximately 1100 °C and possesses high corrosion-resistance and creep strength depending on time up to approximately 750 °C as well as good resistance to temperature variations. The application in carbonizing or sulphur-bearing furnace atmospheres is not recommendable at higher temperatures. Application for components in aviation and space travel, for construction components in gas turbines, such as rings and casing parts, parts for the construction of industrial furnaces, pallets and baskets for the heat treatment of construction components.
