Description

The material NiMn5 with the material number 2.4116 is a wrought-nickel alloy that, since it has great high temperature tensile strength, is used for construction components that are subjected to high temperature stress. The material possesses increased resistance to sulphur. NiMn5 is applied in the form of strips, sheets, bars and wires for construction components that are subjected to high temperature stress, like e.g. for grid wire in thermionic valves. As a prerequisite for this, the alloy has to be free of of Pb, Zn, Sn, As, P and other easily evaporable elements.
