Description

NiCr28FeSiCe is a highly chrome-containing, austenitic, high-temperature NiCrFe-alloy of controlled contents of silicon and noble earths. The material is particularly suitable for thermical waste incineration plants due to a well protecting, external chromium oxide coat associated with a subjacent silicon oxide coat. It is characterized by excellent scaling resistance up to approx. 1200°C (highest application temperature in air), favorable high-temperature and creep rupture strength, excellent resistance in oxidizing, reducing, nitriding and sulfureous media, also on alternating conditions as well as by excellent properties in waste incineration gases at temperatures from 550 to 850°C. Application in environmental engineering, coal combustors and waste incineration plants, furnace construction and industrial furnace heat-exchanger, as well as for chemical and petrochemical processes at increased temperatures.Favorable resistance in gaseous and fluorinated media.
