The material GD-ZnAl4Cu1, material NR. 2.2141, characteristic Z 410, is the advantages alloy for pieces of die casting. The alloy combine good mechanical characteristics, good corrosion resistance, good dimensional accuracy and dimensional stability as well as the possibility for galvanically deposition nearly all metals on cast pieces of this alloy. With attention of increased purity and suitable processing conditions the material GD-ZnAl4Cu1 is applicable also under extreme climate conditions. The casting temperature is to amount to about 425 °C (max. 450 °C), the form temperature (pressure pouring) is on approximately 180 to max. to adjust 250 °C.
