AgCu10, also called Ag90Cu10 or 90Ag10Cu, is ductile, sensitive to sulfur and not oxidation resistant. AgCu10 is machinable, roll-cladable and can be separated from the gas phase. The AgCu materials are used as AC and DC switches for power and communications engineering with switching currents up to 10 A, occasionally up to 25 A, more rarely at higher currents.
