Description

The gold-platinum alloy AuPt10, also Au90Pt10, 90Au10Pt, AuPt90/10, is used in chemical production processes for crucibles and trays for the incineration and coking of organic substances. Furthermore it is used as a contact material. The platinum addition causes a hardening of the fine gold.
