Description

Material X4CrNi18-12 is comparable to X 5 CrNi 18 12 acc. to DIN 17440 :1985-07. Application in chemical industry as well as for the production of screws, nuts and cold extruded parts. In terms of corrosion resistance there is no major difference to steel 1.4301 which is classified as high corrosion resistant. In general up to pH-value 4,5 resistant in pitting media which are poor in chloride. Resistance to intercrystalline corrosion only in delivery condition. Application in construction trade for fastening elements.
