Description

Material X6CrMo17-1 is comparable to X 6 CrMo 17 1 acc. to DIN 17441 : 1985-07. The mirror finishable 17 per cent Cr-steel with Mo-addition has been developped especially for autmotive industry. Increased resistance to media occurring when driving (e.g. road salt). Application for hub caps, bumper, trim strips, front grills, window frames, handholds, headlamp case rings, tail lamps. The material is in delivery condition resistant to intercrystalline corrosion in welded condition no resistance.
