Description

The make X4CrNiMo16-5-1 is comparable to X 4 CrNiMo 16 5 acc. to SEW400 : 1991-02. The material is a martensitic stainless steel for machine engineering, for pumps, instruments, compressor and in shipbuilding. It shows favorable corrosion resistance and low temperature ductility up to -200°C. Furthermore it shows high corrosion resistance particularly to water, weak acids and bases, oxidizing acids (nitrous acid) and weakly chloride-containing media.
