Description

2.0500 (CuZn23Al6Mn4Fe3) is an alloy of copper, zinc, aluminium, iron and manganese. It is a high tensile brass with much higher alloying levels than conventional high tensile brasses, especially aluminium. The alloying additions give this grade strength. It is used for its excellent resistance to corrosion, erosion, wear, abrasion and fatigue, together with high strength and anti-friction and galling resistance properties. It shows the following features and properties:
