Description

G-CuNi30 possesses a very good corrosion resistance to all kinds of water, like drinking water, river waters, brackish water, mining water, sea water, sour and ammonic condensates as well as not-oxidizing acids, alkaline solutions and salt solutions, organic acids and dry gases, like oxygen, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, hydrogen fluoride, sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide. The material does not possess sensitivity to stress corrosion and is well erosion and cavitation-steadily. The corrosion resistance is better due to the higher Ni-content than with the material G-CuNi10 (2.0815). The mechanical properties as well as the values for the heat resistance are more highly than with the G-CuNi10 (2.0815) with only approx.. 10 % Ni.
