Description

CuZn40Mn1Pb1 (CW720R former identification: CuZn40MnPb) is an unhardenable copper alloy. High hardness and strength parameter are achievable by cold forming only. Manganes increases corrosion resistance and sliding qualities. Improved machinability by Pb-addition. Processing properties: warm forming: good cold forming: unfavorable machinability: good hard soldering: moderately soft soldering: very good TIG-welding: unfavorable burnishing: very good Application for roller bearing cages and screw machine products.
