Processing methods | Drying: 4 hours at 100°C 3D Extrusion DuraSense® 3D comes in pellet form and is meant to be used in extrusion deposition printing. It is important for optimal surface of the printed material that a significant pressure is built up behind the nozzle. This can be accomplished by setting the layer thickness higher than the actual nozzle diameter. Temperatures: DuraSense® can be melted around 170°C and processed up to 205°C. DuraSense® is sensitive to prolonged exposure to temperatures above 180°C. Avoid unnecessary heating and residence time. Do not set any zones above 205°C. Nozzle: DuraSense® 3D can be used with nozzle diameters equal to or larger than 2mm. |
