METALEN K-31 is an EPR-based polycomposition, unpainted, chemically modified by vinylalkoxysilane. Supplied with METALEN K-51, crosslinking catalysts in aqueous medium. K-51- white, contains a complex of stabilizers, which provides resistance to aggressive environmental factors, as well as thermal stability during processing.

Processing methods

1. Screw configuration: barrier screw, compression index of 2-2.5. Temperature profile: Zone 1: 135°С, Zone 2: 140°С, Zone 3: 155°С, Zone 4: 170°С, Die plate: 200-210°С. Screw thermostatic (if available) 85-90°С. 2. Crosslinking recommendations: Water temperature 90-95°С. The exposure time at the rate of 240 min (4 hours) per 1.0 mm of thickness. Metalen К-51 Thermal strain at 200°С: 40% and Percentage elongation: 0%.
