Material EN AC-Al Cu4Ti is produced as sand and chilled casting. It shows the following casting characteristics and properties: plasticity: excellent heat crack resistance: excellent pressure tightness: good workability (after heat-treatment): good to acceptable workability (casting condition): good corrosion resistance: good to accebtable decorative anodic oxidation: not advisable weldability: excellent polishability: insufficient strength at room temperature: good strength at increased temp. (up to 200°C): acceptable ductility (impact strength): acceptable fatigue strength amounts 80 to 110 N/mm² ( best available casting method, values for vibration durability up to 50*10 hoch 6 cycles [Woehler diagram]).
