METALEN PE-21 represents the nanocomposite material created using Monamet 1O4 nano-size active filler (in accordance with TU 2164-017-63341682-2014) introduced in a compound based on high-density polyethylene and a set of modifying additives. METALEN PE-21 compound contains a set of stabilizers of prolonged effect, ensuring long-term oxidative degradation resistance at increase operating temperatures. METALEN PE-21 meets the requirements for class 2-5 polyethylene compounds per STO Gazprom, 2-2.3-13-2007 “Technical requirements for factory-applied outer anti-corrosion polyethylene pipe coatings for construction, reconstruction, and overhaul of underground and offshore gas pipelines with the operating temperature of up to +80°C”.

METALEN PE-21 compound is extrusion-applied directly to the pipe surface coated with epoxy primer. Temperature profile: Zone 1: 89°C, Zone 2: 218°C, Zone 3: 219°C, Zone 4: 228°C, Zone 5: 240°C, Zone 6: 245°C, Zone 7: 245°C, Zone 8: 246°C, Zone 9: 244°C, Zone 10: 244°C.
