High-temperature Aliphatic polyamide with a melting temperature of 295°C and high crystallinity level and fast crystallization speed, resulting in Stanyls three key strengths:

  • Excellent high-temperature mechanical properties
  • Excellent wear and friction behavior
  • Superior melt flow


ForTii has a unique PPA's technology with high amide density. The ForTii platform includes polymers that are the highest crystalline, highest melting point and highest glass transition temperature amongst all PPA resulting in:

  • Best mechanics <160°C
  • Highest peak temperature performance
  • High chemical resistance


EcoPaXX is a high-performance aliphatic, biobased polyamide which uniquely balances benefits of typical short and long chain polyamides such as low moisture uptake and high mechanical performance. EcoPaXX has wide applicability and is especially popular as PA66  performance booster since it can be processed in the same tools.

  • 30% lower moisture uptake than PA66 with higher mechanical performance
  • Excellent surface finish
  • 72% bio-based


Poly(p-phenylene sulfide) (PPS) is a polymer made up of sulfur atoms and phenylene rings. It is a semi-crystalline polymer with a melting point of about 280°C. The highly stable chemical bonds of its molecular structure brings PPS below key strengths:

  • Dimensional stability
  • Heat aging performance up to 240 °C
  • Chemical resistance at elevated temperature


Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) with high temperature resistance, good processability and excellent elastic behavior. Arnitel belongs to the TPE subcategory of thermoplastic copolyesters (TPC).

  • Broad range of hardnesses varying from 85 shore A up to 72 shore D.
  • High temperature resistance within the TPE family. Depending on the type of TPC and stabilization up to 170 C continuous use.
  • Mainly used to replace rubber in automotive, electronics and other industries.


High performance polyester compounds (PET, PBT and blends), combining excellent flow with good mechanical strength.

  • Applicable in high precision components for the automotive and electrical industry.
  • Flame retardant portfolio available.
  • Production locations in Europe, US, India and China

PA6 & PA66

Our Akulon portfolio covers virtually all possible applications with grades suited to all processing techniques including extrusion, injection and blow molding. Akulon polyamide 6 & 66 resins represent the best value in all-purpose engineering materials:

On the road to lower emissions

Today, our plastics can be found in most of the world’s cars. The reason? These tough yet lightweight materials are meeting the extreme needs of auto manufacturers - for example by reducing engine friction and performing in red-hot temperatures, long-term.

Our plastics also meet the increasingly extreme needs of the planet. In the case of reducing engine friction, for example, around 1 gram of CO2 emissions are saved for every km driven.
