Description

Corroplast FM homogenous microstructure and the very good machinability result in increased productivity without loss of quality. No obstruction of the water flow rate and heat dessipation or algae growth in the cooling bore holes due to corrosion products. Its good thermal conductivity results in a high cyclic time.

Complex base plates and mould frames with highest demands on machinability and resistance to condensation and cooling water (All-Stainless-Concept), plastic moulds without special requirements on polishability.

Corrosion properties

Consistent corrosion resistance: Even when additional corrosion resistance materials are used, which combined with other steels would have triggered contact corrosion

General machinability

Good stability despite time-consuming machining of the raw material: Even for filigree componenets and limited cavity spacing.
