Description

1.3343 (HS6-5-2C) Quenched and Tempered high-speed steel bar. Its well-balanced alloy composition forms the basis of its high toughness and good cutting edge retention, rendering it suitable for a large variety of applications.

Heat Treatment

Soft annealing: 820-860°C (Cooling in furnace) - Stress relief annealing: 630-650°C (Cooling in furnace) - Hardening: 1190-1230°C and quenching in air, oil or salt bath T=530-560°C - Tempering: at least 3 times 530-560°C
