Description

1.3520 (100CrMnSi6-4) is used in the rolling bearing industry for balls and rollers up to 90mm in diameter, as well as rings up to a finished wall thickness of 50 mm.

Heat Treatment

Normalizing 860-890°C (Air), Soft annealing: 740-790°C, Stress Relieving: 600-650°C (Air), Quenching: 830-870°C (Oil, Polymer)

Hot forming

It is formable at 850-1100°C should then cooled more slowly or in still air.
