Description

LLDPE is a very flexible polymer and elongates easily under stress "stiff in shear" and "soft in extension".Comparing LLDPE to LDPE:

  • Higher tensile strength and higher impact and puncture resistance
  • Harder to process
  • Lower gloss
  • More shear sensitive
  • No strain hardening
