Description

Cold rolled low carbon steel for flat products for vitreous enamelling (direct enamelling, as well as for special applications of conventional two coat enamelling for better sag resistance). Application: domestic appliances (cooking, laundry), sanitary ware (bathtubs, shower trays, sinks), architectural panels (interior and exterior), signage,The soft unalloyed steel DCO1ED, mat. No. 1.0399, is a cold formable steel and suitable for direct enameling as well as for special conventional applications of two-coat enameling, especially if there should be preferably enameled non deforming. In this case are necessary special measures in order to improve enamel`s adhesion. Mechanical specific values and freedom of stretcher strains are warranted for 6 months. Application: simple reforming parts pots, pans, covering caps for gas kitchen stoves, baking sheets, simple shower bases etc. Welding: DC01ED is weldable acc. to the fusion welding methods: MAG (metal active gas/plasma welding arc hand welding laser welding gas welding resistance welding (spot, roll seam, buckle welding)

Equivalent Materials

This material data has been provided by WIAM.

"Typical" values were obtained via a literature search. "Predicted" values were imputed via artificial intelligence technology. While we have placed significant efforts in ensuring data accuracy, "typical" and "predicted" data should be considered indicative and verified by appropriate material testing. Please do contact us if additional information on the the predicted data method is required.
All metrics apply to room temperature unless otherwise stated. SI units used unless otherwise stated.
Equivalent standards are similar to one or more standards provided by the supplier. Some equivalent standards may be stricter whereas others may be outside the bounds of the original standard.
