Cold rolled low carbon steel for flat products for vitreous enamelling (one or two coats of conventional enamelling). Application: domestic appliances (cooking, laundry), sanitary ware (bathtubs, shower trays, sinks), architectural panels (interior and exterior), signage,The soft unalloyed steel DCO4EK, mat. No. 1.0392, is a cold formable steel and suitable for conventional enameling, i.e. enameling with basic enamel or with basic and cover enamel (two coating enameling). Mechanical specific values and freedom of stretcher strains are warranted for 6 months. Application: side walls for gas and electric kitchen stoves, stovepipes, flat cooking pots, lids etc. pots, pans, covering caps for gas kitchen stoves, baking sheets, simple shower bases etc. Welding: DC04EK is weldable acc. to the following fusion welding methods: MAG (metal active gas/plasma welding arc hand welding laser welding gas welding resistance welding (spot, roll seam, buckle welding)
