Description

The austenitic steel grade X1NiCrMoCu25-20-5 acc. to DIN EN 10272 : 2001-01is used for hot and cold formed rods for pressure vessel. The material shows high resistance to highly aggressive organic and inorganic acids, high pitting and largely stress corrosion resistance. With an interaction parameter (Pitting index) of 39 after 1.4529 is it the second best of all steels. The material is resistant to intercrystalline corrosion also in sensitized condition.
